When does the cohort meet?

The cohort will meet each week virtually for a 90-minute session during general business hours, with some limited exceptions.

These limited exceptions include a brief break at the midway point of the program and a handful of modules that will take between three and six hours, such as Speaking Coaching and Assessment, Insights Programming Assessment, and ITIL Test Preparatory Training. Additionally, students will have work to perform outside of the class, including document and presentation development, strategy development, study preparation, and similar work. Between in-class work and homework, every student in the Luminaries Forge can reasonably expect to commit between two and three hours a week during the program.

Additionally, open office hours will be held each week, during which students can discuss the class modules, their ongoing classwork, their development goals, or other issues related to Leadership development with the teacher.

How do Luminaries become certified?

Participants in the Luminaries Forge program, collectively known as “Future Luminaries,” will be expected to complete several projects during the program that demonstrate concrete, accumulated knowledge of the course material. All Future Luminaries will also need to complete their final capstone project.

Upon successful completion of all objectives, Future Luminaries will graduate to become actual Luminaries and receive the “LumiForged” certificate validated by Accredible.
